This is announced by the UWV, which analyzed the first 21,000 approved applications. More than 10,000 of them came from catering companies. Together they employ 158,000 people and together received an advance of 119 million euros.
Loss of sales
Employers who have at least 20% less turnover within three months can receive a contribution towards wage costs. Of course, this quickly becomes the case for the forced closed catering. The allowance is a maximum of 80% with a 100% loss of sales. The payroll can then drop by 10%. On average, the entrepreneurs expect a turnover loss of 66.5% in the hotel and catering industry and in the catering trade of no less than 75%.
