The common security regions are pleased that the government has committed to a common approach against the corona virus. The Roof Security Council is therefore responding to Prime Minister Rutte and Minister De Jonge’s press conference on Thursday evening. “At the same time, we are experiencing the added value of local and regional adjustments to detect and combat corona infections.”
The chairman of the council, Hubert Bruls, calls the cooperation and local measures “in the interest of all to prevent national blocking measures”. The security regions feel supported by the government to intervene and bring the virus under control. “We are careful with this and will take appropriate local and regional measures if necessary.”
Bruls is the mayor of Nijmegen.
