Ryanair had previously started scheduled flights from Weeze to the capital Kiev and the western city of Lviv. Due to the corona crisis, these routes were canceled, but flights can be booked again from the end of October.
According to the booking system, Ryanair flies twice a week from Weeze Airport across the border to Odessa. During the winter season, a Boeing 737-800 flies to the city on the Black Sea every Monday and Friday.
It is not the only new Ryanair route between Germany and Ukraine. The company also opens a regular service from Cologne Bonn to Kiev. This route will also operate twice a week from October 25th.
Europe’s largest low-cost airline announced this week that it will be operating at full capacity again from September will decrease due to the increasing number of corona infections in Europe. According to the price fighter, the number of bookings has decreased noticeably recently.
In September and October the capacity will be reduced by 20 percent. It does this by reducing the frequency of flights.
