Ryanair wants to cut 172 jobs in our country. The Irish airline has informed the unions about this. This is roughly double what Ryanair’s original plans were.
According to Hans Elsen, secretary of ACV Puls, 106 cabin members and 66 pilots are in danger of losing their jobs. In July, the company announced that it would cut around 80 jobs.
Ryanair would cut the additional jobs as the Corona crisis hits society harder than expected and fewer bookings are received.
According to the union, it is “invisible” that a company is trying to cut additional jobs during a layoff process.
