Haarlem – Anyone who has an old boat that has fallen victim to wood rot does not have to rely on the insurer. A man who saw his boat sink and had to renovate it for 8,000 euros should have looked after the 90-year-old oak specimen better, says the Kifid complaints institute. It didn’t matter that he had all-risk insurance.
