This is evident from an overview of the Van Bruggen Adviesgroep.
Last week, every fifth lender cut the interest rate at NHG by a few hundredths of a percent for 20 years. On average, this interest rate fell from 1.67% to 1.65%.
Little else has happened, but “when changes happen they rarely increase and mostly decrease,” concludes the mortgage advisor.
At NHG, an average of 1.19% interest is now paid for a fixed period of 5 years. 10 years fixed with NHG costs 1.31%, 20 years fixed, i.e. 1.65% and 30 years fixed 2%. The variable interest rate is 1.51%. Without NHG, the average percentages are around 0.5 percentage points higher.
