“The facilities are there to safely open the UK, just like other countries are doing,” said John Holland-Kaye. It refers to Iceland, Paris, Tokyo and Dubai, among others.
Currently, travelers from a variety of countries, including the Netherlands and Belgium, must be quarantined for two weeks after arriving in the UK. If travelers undergo a corona test at Heathrow in the near future and this is repeated a few days later, the quarantine period may be shortened. The airport is still discussing this with the British government.
The current corona test point is in Terminal 2, but there should also be one in Terminal 5.
