The number of flights is currently limited to 30 per week, 15 of which can be operated by UK airlines and 15 by Indian airlines. Usually there is a lot more. Anyone flying to India from the UK must be able to submit a negative PCR test result.
More and more countries are demanding such a test. In the last few weeks the Netherlands, Turkey and Canada, among others, have decided to introduce this for (almost) all passengers. In the Netherlands there are only flights from Bonaire, Aruba, Sint Maarten and nine “safe” countries except.
Resumption of flights between India and Great Britain:
India to Great Britain 6 January 2021.
UK to India January 8, 2021.
There are 30 flights every week. 15 each from Indian and UK airlines.
This schedule is valid until January 23, 2021. The further frequency will be determined after review.
