Hospitality Industry in Talks with Cabinet About Options for Reopening NOW

The branch association Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN) talks to the cabinet about the possibilities of offering catering companies a perspective. Various options are on the table, such as a test that will allow 25 catering companies to reopen their doors, various sources reported to Kup.nl on Wednesday after they reported RTL news.

Catering establishments with the exception of hotels have been closed since Wednesday, October 14th at 10 p.m. In any case, the cases will remain closed until mid-December, the cabinet previously announced.

The sector denounces the uncertainty about the future and will speak to the cabinet on Wednesday about it. The professional association would like to discuss various options, such as the pilot project with 25 catering companies, with the cabinet.

These are various cafes and restaurants that are allowed to reopen their doors according to strict Corona regulations. Among other things, KHN is thinking of having quick tests available, putting on coughs and fenders and appointing a so-called corona coordinator.
