Amsterdam – No wonder catering and retail are closed for at least two weeks, but the situation for entrepreneurs in the branches is getting worse and worse. “The money is gone, the route is out,” says director Dirk Beljaarts from the branch organization Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN), who fears a tsunami of bankruptcies without adequate support. The industry association INretail also warns of “a bloodbath if the situation does not change”.
