Ben & Jerry’s now also makes ice cream for dogs

The American ice cream machine Ben & Jerry’s is now entering the pet food market and is launching ice cream for dogs. The so-called “Dog desserts“There are two flavors: pumpkin with cookies and peanut butter with pretzels.”

Dog snacks are a growing business. Between 2015 and 2020, more than 4.5 billion euros were spent on it worldwide, an increase of no less than 44 percent. And ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t want to miss this train. So it now markets dog ice cream. “The ice cream was made with the help of animal nutrition experts and is completely safe,” reports the company. “You would do well to introduce your dog to dessert slowly, starting with a spoon at a time.”

The ice cream will be available in US stores later this month. It is not yet known when they will be available from us. A glass costs around 2.5 euros.
