Alcohol ban on the street is regulated domestically by the Emergency Ordinance

The ban applies not only to consumption, but also to alcohol in your pocket. The fine is 95 euros. This would also apply to the possession and use of soft drugs, which, however, turned out to be a violation of the policy of tolerance.

The measures taken by the cabinet since March are also regulated by emergency regulations. The Cabinet’s corona rate law must put an end to this and serve as the legal basis for corona measures.

The House of Representatives passed the law last week. He’s in the Senate now. Basically, the Senate will meet on October 26th to discuss the law and vote a day later. Then Minister Hugo de Jonge (Public Health) will have to answer all written questions from the senators next week.
