A branch stops after a series of robberies with cash money

Amsterdam – In an Albert Heijn branch in Diemen, payment can only be made cashless after three robberies and one thwarted robbery this year. “It’s just no longer tenable. You shouldn’t think about someone being shot or anything like that, ”says branch manager Gerard van den Tweel.
